With the help of classmate CAD, you can reduce your design costs and get your parts management in order.

classmate CAD: Ensures that existing parts are retrievable – easier than ever before.
The patented solution analyzes 3D CAD models for form elements such as outer and inner contours, drillings, drilling arrangement, chamfers, curves and notches. It does not matter how the CAD model is structured. classmate CAD performs these extensive analysis and evaluation tasks automatically, without the help of the designer. The designer creates his model as usual and saves it in the PDM system. At the same time, classmate CAD automatically analyzes the 3D CAD models and calculates an index ("geometric fingerprint") for each CAD model. This enables a similarity search based on existing geometry. Diagrams, graphics, 2D previews and 3D viewer formats, which are also generated from the collected data, enable an efficient search for parts.
