Humanoid robotics place extreme demands on brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drives and battery packs, where high current density, compact form factors, and continuous dynamic loading are exposing key performance limits in conventional metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) designs. As power density increases, system performance is constrained not only by silicon capability, but also by package parasitics and thermal management.
