Artificial Intelligence on the Edge

While AI has largely been identified with data centers processing large language models, AI is also making its presence at the edge. System designers are opting to design networks with processors performing data-intensive operations at the network’s edge rather than in the cloud, to keep up with performance demands while improving factors such as data security. This fireside chat will look at where edge networks are being utilized, what are the technical requirements in terms of processors and infrastructure, and examine the challenges facing edge AI, present and future.
