2025 – Surface Solutions Group, LLC (SSG), a leading provider of proven medical device coating
technologies, has expanded its production capacity with the addition of a new
automated electrostatic robotic coating line. This latest investment brings
SSG’s total to 30 coating lines – 12 automated electrostatic robotic lines, 8
automated dip lines, and 10 manual lines, strengthening the company’s ability
to meet growing demand from medical device customers from around the world.

To maintain the
highest standards of product quality, each of SSG’s production areas has its
own dedicated HVAC system with HEPA filtration for both incoming and
recirculated air, significantly reducing the risk of foreign contamination.
An ISO 13485 certified company, SSG specializes in formulating and applying medical coatings for a wide range of medical devices and components. Its expertise spans numerous applications, from guidewires, coils and mandrels to needles, hypotubes, electrosurgical blades and more.
