Red Viking Engineering Company Profile

RedViking was founded in 1981 by Dave Emmett, one of the inventors of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). He named the company SuperiorControls and built it on this principle, “If it’s good for the customer, good for the company and good for the team, then it’s the right thing to do.” We rapidly grew beyond controls into test machines, custom automation, exhaust system gages and manufacturing execution systems. By 2007, we were designing and building entire assembly lines and had expanded our operations by adding an engineering center in Raleigh, NC and field offices throughout North America.
