Corrosion resistance of both low and high alloyed grades, fire and heat resistance, hygiene, aesthetic appearance, strength-to-weight advantage, ease of fabrication, and impact resistance. Engineers, specifiers and designers often underestimate or overlook these values because of what is viewed as the higher initial cost of stainless steel.
