East Montgomery County Improvement District Company Profile

Located 20 miles northeast of downtown Houston along US 59/I 69, the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) is a political subdivision of the state of Texas created to initiate, assist and support economic development activities within its 158 square miles. East Montgomery County has tremendous potential for new business growth due to the abundance of land waiting to be developed and its proximity to Houston, an undisputed leader in domestic and international business.

The East Montgomery County Industrial Park contains about 500 acres on several improved tracts of land just three minutes from the Grand Parkway (SH 99), a 180+ mile loop that, when fully completed, will travel through seven counties. The area is also located within 15 minutes of George Bush Intercontinental Airport and within 30 minutes of the Port of Houston. EMCID can offer cash, land, low-interest financing options and other financial incentives to companies that expand or relocate within East Montgomery County and create jobs for our residents.
