Best possible quality score
Based on an outstanding overall rating, Esslingen-based Festo SE & Co. KG has presented its gearbox supplier Neugart with the "Festo Supplier Elite Award 2021".
On the occasion of this year's award ceremony, which for the second time could only take place virtually, the jury particularly emphasized the importance of quality and delivery reliability "even in times of unrest and multiple challenges". The evaluation included criteria such as complaint rate and communication. Neugart met these high requirements, for example, with the best possible ppm value ("parts per million"), an important quality indicator.
The reasons for this longstanding relationship are: first, the expertise gained from over 90 years of experience and more than 400,000 planetary gearboxes delivered worldwide annually. And, secondly, a comprehensive overall package of gearbox hardware, tools, supply chain and services – and last but not least a strong team, stated Managing Director Bernd Neugart: "I am particularly pleased to receive this award from a very demanding customer, because it recognizes not only our great efforts in terms of delivery reliability and product quality, but also the personal commitment of our employees."
As an innovation leader, Festo offers automation solutions using electrical and pneumatic technology for factory and process automation. Neugart has been supplying the company, as a gearbox manufacturer, for many years and has received the "Festo Supplier Elite Award" for the sixth time.
