Advantech Introduces Valor Modular Workstation

Advantech, the leader in embedded industrial and commercial computing, has introduced the Valor Workstation, which complements the company’s one-stop service model for integrated including boards, computer systems, software applications, displays, peripherals, and packaged systems.

• Longevity: Commercial and Industrial PC workstations offer lifecycles of 7+ years. The long product lifecycle guarantees a long service life with available parts and upgrades.
• Customization: From a standard chassis measuring 12.8 x 10.8 x 3.6 inches (325 x 263 x 89.2 mm), the workstation offers hardware options from a choice in Intel processor and operating system (Windows10 IoT or other upon request); a large choice of components and peripherals; software applications and installation, and private-label branding for equipment manufacturers and systems integrators.
• Revision Control: A locked bill of materials across the product lifecycle provides consistent performance and service. This also prevents costly changes and re-validation procedures in regulated industries such as medical device manufacturing (where Advantech serves 33 of the top 50 firms).
• Designed and assembled in the USA: Valor is designed, and integrated at Advantech's manufacturing plant in Milpitas, Calif.<;p>

A wide range of application-specific peripherals can be integrated with Valor chassis to accommodate the requirements of the most demanding applications.
