Site Location Partnership Participates in the World’s Largest Food Science Expo and Economic Development Networking Event in New Orleans

Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based site selection advisory firm, announced its successful participation at IFT 2014, where the firm exhibited and met with businesses planning to expand or relocate their operations. SLP provided registration badges for clients from Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Texas who attended the show. While in New Orleans, SLP also took part in an exclusive networking forum with others involved in location strategy, corporate real estate, and economic development.

The IFT 2014 Annual Meeting & Food Expo, organized by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), brought together over 16,000 food science and technology professionals from around the globe and 1,100 exhibitors showcasing ingredients, equipment, processing, and packaging solutions for the food industry. More than 100 educational sessions and 1,000 poster sessions provided information on the latest developments and industry trends in food science, technology, and R&D.

“We were able to effectively showcase our location advisory services to a worldwide audience of food processing industry leaders at the IFT Food Expo,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “We drew substantial booth traffic which led to many meaningful conversations with businesses in expansion or relocation mode.
