Maple Systems Expands Its Controller+HMI Combo Line with New Display Sizes, Ethernet, New I/O Modules

Maple Systems is expanding its HMC7000 Product Line! Maple Systems’ Graphic HMCs, combine a Controller with Modular I/O and a Touchscreen HMI into a compact, robust form factor, reducing startup costs and space requirements. HMCs can be customized with a variety of I/O connections that interface with most industrial control environments. The HMC7000 Series is now available in two new sizes, each with an Ethernet connection. The HMC7000 series is rated for Class I / Div 2, cULus, RoHS and CE compliant, and is capable of performing in hazardous conditions.

In addition to two new screen sizes, the capability of these units has been expanded with 9 new I/O units. These I/O units sport a wide variety of new features, including 16-bit resolution, and high-speed [25Khz] data transfer. A newly available analog input/output module has 4 inputs, all of which are individually configurable for current, voltage, RTD and thermocouple readouts. High-speed input for counters and motion detection, along with PWM outputs for motor control are also available with this newest release. These new I/O connectors are compatible with the current 3.5” and 5.7” models, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities!

As with the current HMC models, these new units are easily configurable with MAPWare7000. The graphic HMC, with its compact form factor, enhanced communications features and flexible design, make it a cost-effective solution for most small to mid-sized automation environments.
